Firearm Destruction
Double H Gunsmithing destroys firearms for law enforcement agencies at our shop in Blanch, North Carolina. We cut the receiver into three pieces. Back to all Services.
When the work is finished, we return the destroyed receiver to the sender, or we send pictures demonstrating the firearm was destroyed in accordance with regulations. Tell us which one you need.

This service is aimed at law enforcement agencies.
Fee
- Currently $35 per gun, the same as our shop transfer fee
The destruction fee is the same as our shop transfer fee for a firearm. That fee is currently $35 per gun. Current transfer fees are on our Transfers page. If the transfer fee changes, the destruction fee changes with it. Prices assume payment by cash or check unless we note otherwise.
Discount or waiver
A discount or waiver may be available if you allow us to salvage parts from the destroyed gun that have enough resale value to cover the cost of destruction.
